Service robots are used in many industries. These are the main categories Spectrum Robotics supplies through its deployment ready catalog.
Autonomous Floor Cleaning Robots
Scrubbers, sweepers and mops that clean hard floors on their own. They use LiDAR, a laser sensor that measures distance, to build a map of the space and steer around obstacles. Published OEM partner data reports coverage of up to 2,200 square meters per hour on some models.
Food and Beverage Delivery Robots
Robots that carry food, drinks and other items from a kitchen or bar to a table or a room without anyone pushing them. Published OEM partner deployments show them working across several floors by calling the elevator themselves.
In-Room Hotel Delivery Robots
Delivery robots that call the elevator and take amenities, room service orders and supplies to any guest floor. OEM partner reporting from specific hotel sites shows shorter delivery times. Results vary by building and are not a commitment by Spectrum Robotics.
Industrial Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)
Heavy load robots for warehouses, factories and logistics sites. An Autonomous Mobile Robot, or AMR, drives itself rather than following a fixed track. OEM partner specifications rate some of these platforms to carry up to 1,300 pounds and to run across multiple shifts.
Guest-Facing Service Robots
Robots that work in front of customers, greeting people, giving directions, seating guests and displaying promotions in retail, hospitality and healthcare settings.
Humanoid Robots
Robots shaped roughly like a person, with two arms and an upright body. They are used in warehouse and industrial settings for tasks that need careful handling.

Facility Layout and Floor Plan
The physical layout of the facility determines which robots are suitable and how they should be configured. Narrow corridors, stairs, thresholds, and door widths all affect robot selection.
Floor Surface Types
Different robots are optimized for different surfaces. Hard floors, carpet, tile, and mixed surfaces each have implications for cleaning robot selection.
Connectivity Infrastructure
Autonomous robots typically require stable Wi-Fi or LAN connectivity for fleet management, mapping updates, and remote support. Spectrum Robotics assesses connectivity requirements during the site assessment process.
Staff Integration

A service level agreement, which is a written response time commitment, is available and sets out response times and escalation paths. Support is provided under the terms of the applicable agreement.

Spectrum Robotics looks at your building, your workflow and your goals, then recommends a suitable robot from the range built by our OEM partners. You are not limited to one manufacturer.
Review your deployment plan
Spectrum Robotics prepares a plan covering facility mapping, connectivity, an estimated cost summary based on your inputs, and an estimated go live schedule. Prices in the plan start from the figure quoted and are pending credit approval.
On site deployment
A Spectrum Robotics deployment coordinator comes to the site, configures the robot, maps the building and trains your staff. Most deployments take one to two business days, depending on site access. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed date.
Ongoing US based support
After go live, a US based Spectrum Robotics team supports the fleet. Service level agreement coverage with defined response times is available, under the terms of the applicable agreement.
