The Segment Marketing Executive (SME) works toward alignment between the company's products and services, trends, the preferences and needs of assigned markets and market segments.


General Overview:

The Segment Market Executive at Spectrum Robotics, will sell within specific segment markets of greatest familiarity and experience. This is where you subject matter expert knowledge becomes helpful in the deployment of our products. 


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all customer segment group research 
  • Analyze profiles to determine market segment requirements 
  • Identify target customer segments based on shared product characteristics and needs
  • Recommend activities in order to propose marketing strategies 
  • Provide relevant reports and recommendation to achieve annual growth target by segment
  • Decide which 'niche' market is most attractive as part of sales process. 


Qualifications: 

  • Capable of analyzing existing customer needs
  • Must be able to work outside of the office, remote and willing to travel to other cities and states
  • Identify gaps, groups and opportunities 
  • A bachelor’s degree in a marketing, business or technical sales related field

Role Summary

As a Regional Sales Representative specializing in automotive dealership solutions, you will be Spectrum Robotics’ front-line presence across the Elk Grove Village, IL region. You will introduce robotic technology designed to streamline fixed operations, conduct product demonstrations, and grow our client base through meaningful, strategic relationships with franchise dealerships.

• Serve as the local brand ambassador, educating dealership leadership on our robotics solutions

Role Summary

As a Technical Solutions Specialist (ATS/MTS Track), you’ll be at the frontline of product installation, system support, troubleshooting, and client engagement. You will work directly with Sales and Deployment teams to ensure installations are smooth, customer experiences are positive, and technical systems perform at peak efficiency.

This role requires mandatory product training and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding both front-end user systems and back-end integration architecture. Violations of confidentiality or protocol are grounds for immediate dismissal.

You must demonstrate fluency in MOP (Methods of Procedure), SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), and be comfortable assisting with project installs, technical guidance, and escalations. Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills are critical.

• Handle technical support cases via phone, email, and in-person support

  1. • Support field installations of robotics systems and assist customers with setup and onboarding
  2. • Evaluate system compatibility and troubleshoot hardware/software conflicts

  4. • Draft SOP and MOP documentation for new installations
  5. • Ensure quality assurance through on-site inspections and client follow-ups
  6. • Prepare user reference guides and training documentation
  7. • Collaborate with internal Engineering teams to resolve high-level issues

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT preferred)

• Strong background in Python and C++

• 2+ years experience in robotics, technical support, IT, or system integration

• Familiarity with system diagnostics, embedded platforms, and automation

• Ability to travel frequently, including out-of-state (travel compensation provided)

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed

• Exceptional verbal/written communication and customer support mindset

• Understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy in system operations
